Doctor Barrante I enjoy reading your column in the Waterbury paper. You bring common sense to a world of liars.
Does far infrared go through glass, specifically tempered glass? How heat tolerant is tempered glass? Is there another form of glass that is treated to be by a heat source such as an infrared heater?
I’m not a glass expert, so I really think you would get a better answer to your question from those who manufacture tempered glass. My experience has been that tempered glass is generally used near the heat source. My guess is that light of wavelengths near 15 microns cannot pass through, just as would be the case with non-tempered glass.
